The system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is followed from Classes I to X.
The academic year is divided into two terms. The pupil’s progress is assessed throughout the year through Formative Assessments (pen and paper tests, oral and group activities etc.) and at the end of each term through Summative Assessments. Students are graded on a nine-point scale and a minimum grade D is necessary to be declared ‘Pass’ in each subject.
Please Note :
- Children should come to school in time,well equipped for the examination, PT or Unit Test since no borrowing or talking is allowed. In case of doubt, all queries should be addressed to the invigilator.
- In all examinations , asnwer sheets are shown to the students except the Annual Examination. in case a gurdian want to see the copies of the Annual exams he/she must pay ₹ 100 per subject along with an application for the same within 6 days of Declaration of Annual Results.
- Pupils are required to appear for all the examinations as scheduled. In case of absence due to illness, a doctor’s certificate supported by medical prescriptions will be required. Absence for any other reason will not be condoned.
- Students who are absent in any of the Examination due to sickness should submit a medical certificate at the earliest during the examination period itself. Once the result is declared ,medical certificate is not accepted and the student is marked absent.
- in case , a student has less than 75% attendence, he/she will not be permitted to appear for the Annual Exam and the CBSE Board Exam.
- For the promation to the Next Class, it is essintial that a student obtains at least C2 in Overall grade.
- A student who fails twice in the same class will be asked to leave the School.
- All cases of doubt regarding promotion are left entirely to the discretion of the principal whose decision shall be final.
- A student who uses unfair means will be given a zero in the subject and will not re- examined.
- Promotion once refused will not be reconsidred.
