We always believe that education is the key to unlock the unique infinite potential within each child. In order to that, we envisage a future for our children in detail and plan backwards from that future. We envisage the skill set needed for every child who emerges from the portal of Himalayan Progressive School, Kichha. These emerging students profile from the DNA of all that we do for the children.
The emergent students profile is healthy balance among the knowledge, skill and values. This healthy balance lies at the core of all our scholastic and co - scholastic planning. The prioritisation of discipline and emphasis on academics provide the skill that the 21st century adults need and the values and habits that bring them opportunities for transformational leadership.
Our curriculum is connected to the communities - local, state, national and global. The curriculum incorporates higher order thinking skill, multiple intelligence, technology and multimedia. The curriculum and instructions are designed to challenge all students and provide for differentiation. At HPS Kichha we create an eco-system where we function as artistic fellows. We believe in harnessing the individual creativity, curiosity and aesthetic potential of each child. This is nurtured and trained all the while keeping track of individual freedoms in an abuse free environment driven by always doing what is right for the child. This enables them to survive and thrive in tomorrow`s world.
We prepare students for the future in such a way that we cannot clearly describe. Trust takes the first step when you do not see the whole staircase. Let us together take the first step when you do not see the whole staircase. Let us together take the first step to lead our children to peaks of success that will be defined by them. All our efforts are based on making them trend setters and not the trend followers. We welcome your valuable suggestions and active co-operation which will give us strength to scale newer heights
