House Bulletin Board Competition of senior wing was held on 15/04/2017 on the topic " Spooky World Mysteries". students from each house participated enthusiastically for the same and put their best efforts. First position was secured by Chandrashekher House (Blue), Second Position Bhagat Singh House (Red), third position Ashfaqullah Khan House (Green) and fourth position Udham Singh house respectively. On the same day class decoration competition was also held for the classes VI to XII. all students took part energetically in this activity. the judgement was done by Mrs. Dilpreet Kaur and Ms. Afsana Ansari. Poster Making Competition was conducted on 22/04/2017 Grade (VI to VIII). Students participated with great interest and enthusiasm. Theme of the competition was "Say No to Junk Food". Result of this competition -- first position was secured by Ashfaqullah Khan House, Second Position Bhagat Singh House , Third position Udham Singh House, and fourth position Chandrashekhar House respectively.
Calligraphy Competition was conducted on 22/04/2107 grade ( 1 to 5) participated in it and they wrote very beautifully. the zeal of winning the competition among students was appreciable.
Tiny tots along the teachers enjoyed a lot in the party. Funny games and dance added a twist in the party which was organized on 22/04/2017.
House wise English debate competition was held for the classes IX - XII on 22/04/2017. Students from all four houses participated enthusiastically and put their best efforts. the winner house for motion is Udham Singh House and for against is Ashfaqullah Khan House.

A Consultation Session to help operationalise POCSO ( Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) within school was held on 17th July 2017. The Chief Guest Dr. Maidini Gupta member of child welfare society, Principal - Mr. Sanjeev Stephen, Administrator - Mr. Ak Saxena, Head Mistress - Ms. Arti Saxena inaugurated the workshop. The thrust of the seminar was to raise awareness amongst students about the POCSO Act.
Fire extinguisher Training was scheduled for Teachers, Senior Students and Working Staff. Trainer instructed and demonstrated How to use the Extinguisher ?
#Colouring Competition Pre-primary wing It was a day of colours at HPS on 22 July, 2017 when the children had "COLOURING COMPETITION" It was held in their respective classes. Children in all the classes enjoyed the activity a lot. They had splash with colours. It was wonderful to see the kids happily engaged in colouring.
An Inter-House Display Board Competition was held on 26 July, 2017 for students of classes I to V under the guidance of House Incharges and teachers. Students,Teachers and House incharges worked on the theme "My Green Planet" and displayed beautiful work.
Exhibition was held on 29 July, 2017. It was organised with a view to encourage and inculcate a temper amongst students.The students showcase their talents.The Exhibits were creative and attractive and some were marvellous.

So, the students of Himalayan Progressive School Kichha took an active participation in the Rakhi-Making Competition and Gift Wrapping Competition held on 2 August, 2017. "Management of our school motivate students to read Books" Therefore Books were given as a prize to the winners with certificates.
Himalayan progressive school celebrated National Sports Day on August 29, 2017. Special assembly was organized, in which the students were told about the importance of ‘Sports’ and the relevance of National Sports Day. On this occasion, football match was conducted between students of class XI and XII and Kho-Kho match was conducted between students of class VIII to X. Students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Students learnt a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of playing games.They were seen playing with true team spirit and the celebration of National Sports Day echoed in the field.
